Official Poo Pocalypse Rules
Poo Pocalypse is a quirky and fun card game where players navigate a post-apocalyptic world filled with humorous challenges and opportunities related to poo. The aim is to build and upgrade your world while dealing with unexpected events.
Objective
Be the first player to accumulate a set number of victory points by building and upgrading your world while managing various poo-related challenges.
Setup
Shuffle the Decks: Shuffle the Event Cards, Poo Cards, and Building Cards separately.
Deal Cards: Each player is dealt a starting hand of Poo Cards and Building Cards (the exact number may vary).
Prepare the Play Area: Place the Event Cards and Poo Cards in separate draw piles in the center. Set the Victory Point Tokens within easy reach of all players.
Components
Event Cards: Introduce random events or challenges.
Poo Cards: Represent different types of poo with unique effects.
Building Cards: Represent various structures or upgrades.
Victory Point Tokens: Track your progress toward winning the game.
Gameplay
Starting the Game: Choose a starting player randomly or by any agreed-upon method.
Draw Cards:
At the beginning of each turn, draw an Event Card and apply its effects.
Draw Poo Cards and Building Cards to maintain a hand of cards (usually a fixed number).
Play Cards:
Building Cards: Play these to build or upgrade your world. Buildings contribute to your victory points and may have special effects.
Poo Cards: Use these to influence other players or the game environment. Poo Cards may cause challenges, sabotage, or provide benefits.
Manage Events: Apply the effects of the drawn Event Cards. These may cause random events that impact all players.
Rules
Card Limits: Players may have a hand limit for the number of cards they can hold.
Building Costs: Each Building Card may have a cost in terms of resources or other cards that must be met before it can be played.
Poo Effects: Poo Cards can have various effects, such as creating obstacles or changing the game dynamics. Pay attention to the specific instructions on each card.
Winning the Game
The game continues until a player reaches the target number of victory points (usually agreed upon at the start of the game).
The player who first accumulates the required number of victory points wins.
