Objective:
The goal of "Twangled" is for the players to work together to untangle themselves from a twisted web of colored bands without letting go of the handles they’re holding.
Setup:
Player Count: 4 to 8 players.
Components:
Colored bands with handles.
Spinner or a set of instructions.
Preparation:
Players form a circle.
Each player holds two handles of different colors.
Use the spinner or instructions to get everyone into a twisted-up position.
How to Play:
Twist Up:
Each player spins the spinner or follows the instructions, which dictate how to move and twist up the bands among players.
The result should be a tangled web where players are crossed over and under each other.
Untangle:
After the twist-up phase, players must communicate and coordinate to untangle themselves.
The challenge is to get back into a circle without letting go of the handles or unfastening the bands.
Players should work together to figure out who needs to move where, step over or under others, etc., to untangle.
Winning the Game:
The game ends when the group successfully untangles and forms a complete circle with everyone holding their original handles without any twists in the bands.
Rules:
No letting go: Players cannot let go of their handles at any time during the game.
Communication: Players are encouraged to communicate clearly to solve the problem.
Teamwork: The game requires cooperation among all players to be successful.
Variations:
Timer Challenge: Set a timer to see how quickly the group can untangle themselves.
Blindfolded: Increase the difficulty by having one or more players wear blindfolds.
This game is about cooperation, communication, and a lot of fun! Enjoy getting "Twangled!"
