Super Mario Labyrinth retains the core mechanics of the original Labyrinth but replaces its treasures with Super Mario characters.

Game Components

• 24 Character Cards: Each card features a different Super Mario character.

• 24 Path Tiles: These include tiles with Super Mario characters and others with simple paths.

• Fixed Tiles: Twelve path tiles and four corner tiles are fixed to the board and cannot be moved.
  

Setup

1. Shuffle the path tiles and randomly place them on the game board, leaving one tile as the spare.

2. Shuffle the character cards and deal them face down to each player as a stack.

3. Each player places their game piece at one of the four corner tiles.
   

Objective

Players aim to navigate the maze to reach the tile featuring the character on the top card of their stack.

Turn Structure

1. Shift the Maze:

   • Insert the leftover path tile into one of the rows marked by a blue arrow, shifting the maze.

   • The tile pushed out from the opposite side becomes the new leftover tile.

   • Players cannot reverse the previous player’s move by pushing the same row back.

2. Move the Game Piece:

   • Navigate the maze to reach the tile with the character on the player’s current card.

   • Movement can span any number of tiles as long as the path is unblocked. Players may also choose to stay in place.

3. Reveal the Card:

   • Upon reaching the target tile, turn over the character card and reveal it to the other players.

   • The player then moves on to the next card in their stack.
     

Winning the Game

The first player to reveal all their character cards and return to their starting corner wins.
