Objective
The goal of Roll For It! is to score the most points by rolling dice to match target combinations shown on score cards.
Components
6 dice (3 white and 3 colored dice)
30 scoring cards (with various combinations and point values)
1 dice tray (optional)
Score pad and pencil (optional)
Setup
Players: The game can be played with 2 or more players.
Cards: Shuffle the scoring cards and place them face up in the center of the table. You can use a subset of the cards if playing with fewer players.
Dice: Each player receives 3 dice (two colored and one white). The dice are used to roll and match scoring combinations.
Gameplay
Starting a Turn:
On your turn, choose a scoring card from the center of the table that you want to aim for. Each card has a specific combination of dice that you need to roll to score points.
Roll your dice up to three times, trying to match the combination shown on the scoring card you selected.
Rolling the Dice:
First Roll: Roll all three dice.
Set Aside Dice: After the first roll, set aside any dice that match the scoring card’s combination. You can keep these dice and re-roll the remaining dice.
Re-roll: Roll the remaining dice up to two more times, continuing to set aside dice that match the combination.
Scoring:
If you successfully match the combination shown on the scoring card with your dice, place your dice on the card to claim it. Record the points from the card on your score pad.
If you are unable to match the combination, you do not score any points for that card, and your turn ends.
Ending a Turn:
After rolling up to three times, you either claim a scoring card or end your turn without scoring.
Draw a new scoring card to replace any card that has been claimed.
Winning the Game
Points: The game continues until all scoring cards have been claimed or a predetermined number of rounds have been completed.
Highest Score: The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Additional Rules
Card Replacements: If playing with fewer players, you may need to adjust the number of cards in play.
Tie-breaker: In case of a tie, use the total number of cards claimed or the highest single card score as a tie-breaker.
Strategy Tips
Choose Cards Wisely: Aim for cards that you think you can complete based on your dice rolls and the dice you have.
Maximize Rolls: Use your re-rolls strategically to increase your chances of matching the desired combination.
Roll For It! is a delightful game that’s perfect for quick play sessions and family gatherings. Enjoy the fun of rolling dice and scoring points with every turn!
