Objective:
Score the most points by creating lines of cubes with matching colors or shapes.
Gameplay:
Setup:
Each player takes six cubes and rolls them.
Players keep their cubes visible to everyone.
Taking Turns:
The oldest player starts.
On your turn, you can:
Re-roll: Choose any or all of your cubes and roll them again.
Play: Place one or more cubes from your hand onto the grid.
Cubes must be placed adjacent to existing lines, horizontally or vertically.
All cubes played in a turn must share the same color or shape.
Scoring:
Each cube placed scores one point.
If you create a line of six cubes with the same color or shape (a Qwirkle), you score an additional six points.
A cube can be part of multiple lines, earning points for each line.
Refilling Your Hand:
After playing, refill your hand to six cubes by rolling from the remaining cubes.
Game End:
The game ends when no player can play any cubes.
The player with the highest score wins.
Additional Rules:
Cubes can only be placed adjacent to existing lines, not diagonally.
You must play at least one cube on your turn, unless you have no playable cubes.
If you can't play any cubes, you must re-roll until you can.
Tips:
Plan ahead and try to create opportunities for Qwirkles.
Pay attention to your opponents' hands to anticipate their moves.
Be strategic with your re-rolls to maximize your chances of playing.
Qwirkle Cubes is a fun and engaging game that combines luck and strategy. Enjoy!
