Official Prime Climb Rules

Prime Climb is a unique board game that combines math and strategy. Learn and master multiplication, division, factorization and prime number concepts by combining colors.

Objective:

The objective is to be the first player to move both of your pawns to the "101" space on the board.

Setup:

  • Each player has two pawns, which start at the "0" space.

  • Two ten-sided dice are used.

  • The game board is a spiral with numbers from 0 to 101.

Gameplay:

  1. Roll the Dice: On your turn, roll both ten-sided dice.

  2. Perform Math Operations: You can add, subtract, multiply, or divide the numbers rolled to your pawn's current position.

  3. Move Your Pawn: Move your pawn to the new calculated position on the board.

  4. Landing on Prime Numbers: If you land on a prime number space, you can draw a prime card. These cards often provide special abilities or bonuses.

  5. Bumping Pawns: If you land on another player's pawn, their pawn returns to the "0" space.

  6. Winning the Game: The first player to get both pawns to the "101" space wins the game.

Additional Notes:

  • The game encourages players to use mental math quickly and efficiently.

  • Strategy is key, as players need to plan their moves carefully to reach 101.

  • The game can be adjusted for different age groups by modifying the difficulty level or using simplified rules.

Prime Climb is a great way to make math fun and engaging for players of all ages.
