Pressman Mastermind for Kids is a simplified version of the classic Mastermind game, designed to be more accessible for younger players. Here’s a rundown of the rules:
Objective:
For the Codebreaker: Guess the secret code in the fewest tries possible.
For the Codemaker: Create a secret code that is difficult to crack.
Gameplay:
Setup:
Choose who will be the Codemaker and the Codebreaker.
The Codemaker secretly sets a code using the colored pegs, placing them in the code pegs row.
The Codebreaker will try to guess the code by placing their pegs in the guess rows.
Taking Turns:
The Codebreaker places a row of colored pegs as a guess.
The Codemaker provides feedback using the scoring pegs:
A red peg indicates a correct color in the correct position.
A white peg indicates a correct color but in the wrong position.
Winning:
The Codebreaker wins if they guess the correct code in the allotted number of tries.
The Codemaker wins if the Codebreaker fails to guess the code.
