Official Blokus Duo Rules

Objective:
To fit the most pieces onto the board by strategically placing them.
Gameplay:
Setup:Â Each player receives 21 pieces in a single color.
Starting the Game:Â Players take turns placing one piece at a time on the board.
Placement Rules: Each new piece must touch at least one other piece of the same color, but only at the corners. No flat edges of the same color can touch.
Game End:Â The game ends when neither player can place any more pieces.
Scoring: Players count the number of squares on their remaining pieces. The player with the lowest total wins.
Additional Rules:
Bonus Points:Â A player who places all 21 pieces on the board earns a bonus of 15 points.
Small Piece Bonus: If the last piece placed is the smallest one-square piece, the player earns an additional 5 points.
